New Yorker cartoonist Pat Byrnes and noted Australian technologist Steve Landers co-founded Iconicast in 2010 along with tech visionary and philanthropist Dr. Michael Doyle. The three company co-founders share an inspired dream for creating mobile apps designed to increase the personal connections between people in today’s sometimes over connected but “out of touch” world.
Iconicast’s first app available in the App Store called “Smurks”, has been recognized as a design tool that gives people a new way to communicate using 350 distinct emotional expressions. While “It’s Me” is another unique app that puts a friendlier face on iPhone caller privacy by allowing you to selectively choose who sees your Caller ID. The newest Iconicast app, HueTunes, allows you to make music through your paintings.
